Nestling among the lushly green pastures beneath the Alpe di Siusi and above Siusi, there is the scattered village of San Valentino

On the meadows above Siusi allo Sciliar, on the road to the Alpe di Siusi, there is the St Valentine Church, round which there are several ancient farms, forming the scattered settlement of San Valentino. The small church with its frescos from the 14th and the 15th century is of great historical value. Interesting: the fresco with the Three Kings shows also the landscape of the Alpe di Siusi.
From an bird's eye perspective, San Valentino does not at all seem a village, but rather an area with a few buildings only, which stands in contrast to the neighbouring, compact village of Siusi allo Sciliar. The charming landscape as well as its location close to the Alpe di Siusi and the villages of Castelrotto and Siusi allo Sciliar make San Valentino an attractive destination for relaxing holidays in the Sciliar area.
