Corpus Christi procession
Info
Description
Corpus Christi is an important feast in the liturgical calendar, during which the Catholic Church celebrates the presence of Christ in the Eucharist. A solemn procession, in which the consecrated host is carried in a monstrance through the village, expresses this faith.
This tradition also has a firm place in Kastelruth, and we warmly invite everyone to participate. The celebration begins at 9:00 am with the Holy Mass in the parish church, followed by the procession at around 10:00 am, which will move through the village and return to the church.
We kindly ask all guests and visitors to accompany the procession with respect, to maintain order, and to observe the event reverently along the route. Please avoid entering the procession aimlessly. Thank you for your understanding and for appreciating this religious tradition!
