All over South Tyrol there are more than 80 museums and of course some of these are also located in the area of the Alpe di Siusi

Besides the famous South Tyrol Museum of Archaeology with Oetzi the Iceman, located in Bolzano, there are several other museums in South Tyrol, that are really worth to be visited. Some of them can be found in Castelrotto and Fiè allo Sciliar. In the Farmer’s Museum, for example, you can admire farmers’ items dating back to the period before the war and the School Museum provides an insight into school life in those days.
