In Sant'Osvaldo (St. Oswald) in the municipality of Castelrotto (Kastelruth) on the Alpe di Siusi you can learn more about the lives of our ancestors in the barn of the beautiful Tschötscher Farm. This farm has been turned into a museum about 15 years ago in collaboration with the Castelrotto Museum Association and provides information about life and work on the farms in the region as well as peoples' believes.
Samples that are exhibited are e.g. tools of everyday life, household appliances, agricultural tools as well as tools used for the production of wool. If only these samples could talk... A visit to this museum will carry you back in time and make you retrace history and the lives of farmers in the Sciliar region. History will turn alive in the 500-year-old Tschötscher Farm!
