Organic herb farm Pflegerhof

Near to the little hamlet of Sant'Osvaldo, belonging to the municipality of Castelrotto (Kastelruth), lies a small but lovely farm called Pflegerhof. But this isn't the usual kind of farm, as here you might get delicious herbs and lots of other organically grown products. Covering 5 hectares, some 0.7 hectares of the farm are dedicated to the growing of medicinal plants, herbs and spices.

Since 1982, Miss Martha Mulser and her whole family have decided to dedicate themselves to the growing of organic herbs. An admirable task, which they carry out with flying colours. The herbs are used to make tea, spiced salt or scented herbal pillows. You may visit the show garden and the greenhouse with more than 200 types of herbs. A true paradise of fragrances and colours!

The farmers, moreover, sell fresh vegetables, fruits and other food on a daily basis at the small farm shop. So what about a guided visit, a workshop or a hike in this lovely place?!
