The shops in the villages around the Alpe di Siusi have everything your heart desires, and Bolzano with its famous arcades is not far away. Most shops in the municipalities of Castelrotto, Fié allo Sciliar and Tires close for a lunch break and are only open on Saturday mornings.
There are also popular farmers' and Christmas Markets. The farmers' markets are held in the months between June and October, the Christmas Markets from late November to early January.
